Hey, ACE fans.  Wow, how time flies!  We are now 1 week away from RosFest 2017.  If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, there’s still time (click the picture below for a link to purchase your single-day pass).

Next week, we’ll be debuting several new songs from our upcoming third album as well as performing several songs from “Lonely Hills” and “Outer Light, Inner Darkness” with the ACE String Quartet.  Thank you all for your support in helping get to this moment.  We couldn’t have done it without you!  Eric, Devin, Tim, and I all look forward to meeting you next week at RosFest.

Hey, ACE fans.  We can’t believe that RosFest 2017 is only 2 months away!  Have you bought your tickets yet?

We’ll be debuting several new songs and will be adding a string quartet to several songs from “Lonely Hills” and “Outer Light, Inner Darkness,” so this definitely not a show to be missed.  As we get closer to the festival, we’ll have a few more updates for you.

Happy new year, ACE fans! We want to once again thank Prog Magazine for their coverage of The Aaron Clift Experiment in 2016 and for nominating us for the 2016 Limelight Award.

As you may have sadly heard, Prog Magazine’s parent company, TeamRock, went into bankruptcy at the very end of 2016, and Prog Magazine has folded. This is a huge blow to the progressive music community: for bands like ours, Prog Magazine was one of the ultimate resources for reaching a wider audience – for music fans, the magazine was a way to discover a world of exciting new bands.

If you care about Prog Magazine as much as we do, please join the new Facebook group, Bring Back Prog Magazine (click the picture below for a link to the group). Here, you’ll find a whole community of fans and musicians who are working together to help relaunch Prog Magazine.

Happy 2017, and thank you all for supporting The Aaron Clift Experiment and progressive music!

Aaron will be interviewed on Texas State Radio’s Other Side Drive radio show on 10/26/16 at 5:30 PM Central Time to discuss the Holiday Charity Rocktacular on December 3.  Joining Aaron on the interview will be PR Specialist, Lauren Lyman.

If you live in the Austin area, you can tune into 89.9 FM for the interview or stream the interview from anywhere in the world by clicking the image below:

Hi, everyone.  Aaron here.  I want to share with you an important concert for a good cause:

To close out 2016, The Aaron Clift Experiment is organizing a concert to raise money for the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic, an Austin-based charity organization that provides free healthcare services for uninsured and low-income residents of Austin and Travis County.

I’ve been volunteering as a Spanish translator for VHC since 2005 and have seen first-hand how the clinic has helped hundreds of people who would otherwise have no access to healthcare.  I, along with Eric, Devin, Tim, and members of Mount Pressmore, The Cuckoos, Seven Circles, and Wonderbitch are now proud to lend our musical talents to assist our community.

The show is all ages and free with a suggested $10 donation that will go to the VHC’s holidays fund drive.  Please join us on December 3 at Kick Butt Coffee and help us make the holiday season a better time of year for our fellow Austinities!  Click on the picture below for more information.

We’re very excited to announce that “Kissed by the Sun” will be one of the tracks on Melodic Revolution Records’ new charity album, “One Love! Music for Relief.”  This compilation features songs from over 30 excellent progressive rock bands and all album sale proceeds will go to raise money for Habitat for Humanity and The Red Cross to provide relief for victims of the recent catastrophic floods in Louisiana and earthquake in central Italy.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be part of the 2016 Voyager Festival lineup.  This festival, celebrating progressive and experimental music, is the first of its kind in Austin.  The Aaron Clift Experiment will be performing from 5:10 – 5:50 Central Time on September 17 on the ballroom stage.
