Happy new year, ACE fans!  As we begin the new year, I want to first look back at the momentous year of 2017.

One of the biggest highlights of 2017 for us was playing for hundreds of progressive rock fans at RosFest 2017 in May.  It was truly an honor to perform alongside major players like Moon Safari, The Neal Morse Band, and Anglagard, as well as meet and hang out with so many of our awesome fans.

In addition to RosFest, 2017 was the year that we debuted some brand new songs.  “Last Crash” and “Castle in the Sky” are available in live video on our music and videos pages, so check them out!

But, the biggest highlight of our 2017 was successfully crowdfunding our third album, “If All Goes Wrong,” and recording it at Antimatter Studios in Austin.

So what’s happening for ACE in 2018?  We’re currently finishing the mixing, mastering, and artwork for the album.  If all goes right (pun intended!), we’ll be sending the album to CD manufacturing in late January and sending out the album to our crowdfunding patrons in late February.  We’ll be taking pre-orders for the album in March and have tentatively scheduled the official release for mid to late April along with an album release show.

Speaking of shows – we’ve got some more big prog shows planned in 2018 to coincide with the release for “If All Goes Wrong.”  If you’d like to be the first to hear about them, join our mailing list.

I want to thank all of you for making 2017 the biggest year yet in Aaron Clift Experiment history!  We can’t wait to share our new music with you this year.  Keep on rocking, and we’ll see you in 2018!

–Aaron

Our final video in our series of live videos from RosFest 2017 is our performance of parts 1 and 3 of “The Castaway Saga” from “Lonely Hills.”  (Song order in the video is: “Shipwrecked,” “Low Tide,” and “Staring at Fruit Out of Reach”) Joining us for this special performance is the ACE Quartet, featured on “Shipwrecked” and “Low Tide.”

Hey, ACE fans.  Wow, how time flies!  We are now 1 week away from RosFest 2017.  If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, there’s still time (click the picture below for a link to purchase your single-day pass).

Next week, we’ll be debuting several new songs from our upcoming third album as well as performing several songs from “Lonely Hills” and “Outer Light, Inner Darkness” with the ACE String Quartet.  Thank you all for your support in helping get to this moment.  We couldn’t have done it without you!  Eric, Devin, Tim, and I all look forward to meeting you next week at RosFest.

Hey, ACE fans.  We can’t believe that RosFest 2017 is only 2 months away!  Have you bought your tickets yet?

We’ll be debuting several new songs and will be adding a string quartet to several songs from “Lonely Hills” and “Outer Light, Inner Darkness,” so this definitely not a show to be missed.  As we get closer to the festival, we’ll have a few more updates for you.

We are very excited to announce that we’ve been signed to play at RosFest on May 6, 2017! RosFest is one of the largest and longest-running progressive rock festivals in the world. It’s a huge honor for us to be performing alongside prog titans like The Neal Morse Band.

Thank you to all of the fans for helping us get to this point. We could not have done this without your support! We’re looking forward to giving all of you the show of a lifetime next year!

We will be performing from 11:00 AM Eastern Time – 12:00 PM Eastern time on May 6, 2017, but we encourage you to come and experience the entire festival.  Click the picture below for complete details on the festival lineup and schedule:

Hey, ACE fans.  Aaron here.  I’m very excited to announce that on May 6 – 8, I’ll be in Gettysburg, PA at RosFest, one of the largest and longest-running progressive rock festivals in the world.  Although The Aaron Clift Experiment won’t be playing at the festival this year, I’ll be representing the band in the vendor area of the festival.

If you own any ACE albums that you’d like autographed, you’d like some free ACE merchandise, or you’d just like to meet me and chat, please visit the ACE merchandise booth on the second level of the Majestic Theater and say hi.  I look forward to seeing you all there!
