We’re celebrating the release of our second album, “Outer Light, Inner Darkness,” with an epic show at Threadgill’s! We’re pulling out all the stops for this once-in-a-lifetime event, including the first ever performance of the album in its entirety with special guests, The ACE String Quartet. Outer Light, Inner Darkness is now finished! We had a great time recording the album and are very proud of our best work to date. The album is scheduled for release on September 18, 2015.
From 08/01/15 – 09/17/15, we’ll be taking pre-orders for the album on our web store. Pre-ordered digital downloads will be made available to customers on 09/18/15. Pre-ordered CD’s will be shipped to customers 7 – 10 business days prior to 09/18/15.
Hey, ACE fans! We’ve got a few exciting announcements about our second album:
Our second album will be titled “Outer Light, Inner Darkness.”
The title, which comes from a lyric in “Moonscape” (a 12-minute anti-war epic that will be a centerpiece of the album), is a reference to the duality of human nature – a theme that crops up in several of the album’s songs. We chose the title not only because it encompassed the lyrical concept of the album but also because we love the visual imagery it brings to mind.
“Outer Light, Inner Darkness” is scheduled for release on September 18, 2015.
Right now, we’re putting the putting the finishing touches on the song arrangements for our second album, and in two weeks, we’ll be entering the studio to start recording. Stay tuned for more updates.
Happy new year! We hope all of you had a great holiday season and are looking forward to the rest of 2015 as much as we are. We have a few updates for you on the recording schedule for The Aaron Clift Experiment’s second album:
From January – early May, our producer, Matt Noveskey, is going to be be touring with his multi-platinum band, Blue October. As a result, The Aaron Clift Experiment’s recording schedule has shifted from late January to late May, and the album release date has shifted from mid-June to mid-August.
The good news is that we will now have more time to craft an amazing follow up to our debut album, “Lonely Hills.” We’ve already written some very exciting new songs for the album and are looking forward to sharing all of them with you.
